ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the changes of coagulation factors in Xinjiang Uygur and Han patients with diabetic mellitus in order to provide reference for the prevention and treatment of diabetic mellitus patients. Methods 2 100 patients with diabetic mel-litus were taken as the patient group which were diagnosed in our hospital between February 2014 and April 2015,another 446 healthy people were collected as the control group. The difference of coagulation between diabetic mellitus group and control group was compared.Coagulation between Uygur and Han was compared for 2 100 diabetic mellitus patients. Results The APTT of dia-betic mellitus group were significantly less than that in control group(P 0.05).The APTT of Uygur group were significantly less than Han group(P 0.05).Conclusion Fac-tors were difference of diabetic mellitus patients and healthy people, coagulation factors in diabetic mellitus patients of Xinjang Uygur and Han.

ABSTRACT

Objective To systematically evaluate the value of chemiluminescence assay for detecting human immunodeficien-cy virus(HIV) antibodies as a HIV preliminary screening method .Methods The Chinese and English studies on chemilumines-cence assay for detecting HIV antibodies published by the databases of WanFang ,VIP ,CNKI ,CBM ,Pubmed and Web of Science were collected by computer retrieval and manual retrieval .The retrieval time limit was from the database establish to November 2016 .Two reviewers independently screened the literature ,extracted the data and assessed the methodological quality of included studies .Then the meta-analysis was performed by using Meta-disc1 .4 and Stata12 .0 software .Results A total of 8 studies invol-ving 26168 patients were included .The meta-analysis results showed that the pooled sensitivity of chemiluminescence assay for de-tecting HIV antibodies was 100% (95% CI:1 .00-1 .00) ,the pooled specificity was 100% (95% CI:0 .99-1 .00) ,the pooled posi-tive likelihood ratio was 237 .79(95% CI:80 .50-702 .42) ,the pooled negative likelihood ratio was 0 .00(95% CI:0 .00-0 .02) ,the diagnostic odds ratio(OR) was 48911 .05(95% CI:8257 .50-289711 .20) ,and the area under the curve(AUC) was 0 .9994(SE=0 .0002) .Conclusion Chemiluminescence assay can serve as a HIV preliminary screening method for promotion and application in clinic .

ABSTRACT

Objective To determine the ELISA cut‐off value for the diagnosis of alveolar echinococcosis by applying ROC curve . Methods 34 cases of alveolar echinococcosis specimens confirmed by the gold standard were selected and detected by ELISA .The diagnostic cut‐off value was determined by ROC curve ,and the sensitivity and specificity were calculated according to the cut‐off value .Results When the cut‐off value was 0 .44 ,the ROC curve had the largest area under the curve (AUC) accounting of 0 .995 , and the sensitivity and specificity w ere 97 .06% and 97 .06% respectively .Conclusion T he ROC curve is the best w ay to determine the cut‐off value of ELISA .
